My latest article in Welsh Country Magazine (September 2012 edition) is about the Battle of Pilleth which took place in 1402 near Knighton. It was Owain Glyndwr’s most famous victory over the English forces.

Book Signing
Thanks to everyone at W H Smiths for their help at my book signing today – and a particular thank you to all of you who bought a copy of my book, Bloody Welsh History – Swansea. I hope you all enjoy it!
New Websites
With the help and direction of Dan Gladwin, my son in law, two new websites are being developed for my local history books. One is Bloody Welsh History – Swansea and the other is called Swansea Then and Now. The sites now exist. Over the next few weeks I shall have to add the content.

I was in Waterstone’s on Swansea signing copies of Bloody Welsh History – Swansea, the first signing for this title. I sold a few books and talked to some really interesting people. The staff in the bookshop were jolly and helpful in spite of the over-amplified street “entertainer” outside who assaults their eardrums most weekends!…
